Staff-Net endeavours to ensure that data you submit to us remains confidential and is used for the purposes stated in this policy. Staff‐Net complies with Government Privacy Legislation to protect all the information that that we acquire from you and other sources. Staff-Net’s Privacy and Data Usage Consent Policy adheres to strict guidelines in how we acquire, maintain and disclose all information about you.

All information gathered by Staff-Net may be used by Staff-Net to assess your ability to perform specific jobs or to administer, validate and manage your employment or engagement with Staff-Net. With your permission, Staff-Net may disclose certain aspects of your personal information to various organisations.

By lodging an application with Staff‐Net, you are providing us with your consent to make disclosures to organisations which are involved in the following. Information that is collected directly from you, may include –

• Collection of information gathered when you fill out any of Staff-Net’s application forms or documentation;
• Information that you choose to disclose to Staff-Net such as licences, qualifications, resumes and personal references;

Other information which may be collected from other sources may include –

• Reference checks from previous employers;
• Criminal history checks for a “police clearance” from State and or Federal agencies;
• Testing for skills conducted by Staff-Net or other organisations;
• Medical testing such as physical, drug and alcohol or dexterity testing;
• Visa or Work Rights Status;
• Financial Institutions or companies such as superannuation funds, banks and insurers, for the purpose of managing your remuneration or insurance coverage.
• Or any other source that is deemed necessary to manage your employment or account for your suitability for specific work assignments;
