The Company

Our client is a well-established Agricultural dealership specialising in new and second hand agricultural machinery.  With several dealerships located in the Wheat Belt and Midwest Regions of Western Australia, due to a recent retirement they and are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to join their team.

 

About the Role

As the Sales Manager, your main focus will be delivering on sales with the existing well established customer base, where you will also be utilising your skills and experience to generate new leads and get deals over line in an extremely competitive market.

Our client sells and services a varied range of new and used machinery predominantly suited to large scale broad acre farming including but not limited to:

  • Harvesters
  • Headers
  • Seeding & Tillage Equipment 
  • Tractors
  • Sprayers
  • Telehandlers
  • Power Equipment

The role requires an experienced Ag Sales professional that has highly developed skills in the following;

  • Marketing: Developing & implementing campaigns in print media, web and social media
  • Sales Leads: Generating by various means from networking through to cold calling
  • Customer Service: Deliver a high level of customer service
  • Technical Sales: In-depth knowledge of farming practices and the specialised Ag Machinery used
  • Networking: Developing or building on an existing contact list
  • Negotiating: Ability to get sales over the line through negotiating
  • Contract Interpretation: Be familiar with standards contracts in sales, financing, warranty & service agreements
  • Administration: Have excellent admin skills, CRM experience
  • Supervisory: Be able to manage a small team that may comprise of sales reps and admin support

 

About the Candidate

Ideally, we would like to secure a time served Ag Sales professional that is located in the Midwest Region who is prepared to travel in the Midwest and Northern Wheatbelt areas for client visitations and spending time in the dealerships.

Remuneration

I highly competitive salary package is available, which will include base salary of 100K + Sales Bonus + Super + Vehicle + Other Tools.
